Why shutdowns are a risk

Thanksgiving: 26 November 2026.
Christmas to New Year: Late December into the first week of January.
Australia & New Zealand
Christmas: Construction typically closes from just before Christmas into mid-January.
Hong Kong, China & Southeast Asia
Chinese New Year: 6 February 2027. Many sites close for one to two weeks around it.
Ireland
School mid-term: Mid-February, dates vary by school.
